Undergraduate Student

I am a 4th year undergraduate computer science student at the University of Virginia. My interests lie mainly in machine learning and applying it to real-world scenarios. Before joining NICC, I worked with Professor Sullivan at the University of Virginia, where I investigated giving semantic understanding to code. This acted as a bridge for code to real world ideas, such as what spaces vectors are in, and makes sure that the user isn’t causing any issues, for example by adding vectors in different spaces. I’m joining NICC as a coder to create a classifier for the Coma Recovery Scale (CRS) in non-responsive coma patients, by inspecting EEG data. In my free time, I love coding side-projects, skiing, playing cello, and hanging out with my 3 younger brothers.
