I have been interested in the clinical care and scientific investigation of traumatic brain injury since the start of my medical training. After receiving my primary medical qualification from the University of Cambridge (UK), I continued my research and clinical training in Cambridge and London, and completed my PhD at Imperial College London (UK). My research uses multimodal methods to assess outcomes and treatments for the consequences of traumatic brain injury. My most recent projects have used combined brain stimulation-brain imaging techniques to investigate the potential for brain stimulation as a treatment for cognitive deficits are TBI. I am currently working on characterising aggression and emotional lability after TBI, particularly with regards to its links with post-TBI autonomic dysfunction.
