Regulatory Coordinator

I consider myself a global citizen, having lived in over five countries and counting. Though ancestral roots stem from Pakistan and a part of me still calls that, along with Toronto, “home”. I completed my B.Sc.(Honors) in Behaviour, Genetics and Neurobiology followed by a Master’s in Cell and Systems Biology from University of Toronto, Canada. However, my interest in clinical research stems from my undergraduate senior year internship at St. Michael’s Hospital ob-gyn department. Having both bench and over 8 years’ clinical trial experience, I’ve been engaged in various therapeutic areas: oncology, fertility, chiropractic care, rheumatology and now finding my way back to Neurology. Looking forward to learning more about the fascinating intricacies of the brain and the institutional/national rules and regulations pertaining to these clinical trials. Besides work, I like to think of myself as a winter warrior who’s up for a snowy challenge and love hiking.
