Ally Sterling, ScM, MBE
Research Coordinator
Since April 2021, Ally coordinated the Spaulding-Harvard Traumatic Brain Injury Model System program in the Neurorehabilitation Laboratory at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. At Spaulding, she worked on a study developing a telephone-based caregiver interview to remotely monitor neurobehavioral function in persons with disorders of consciousness. Prior to joining the NICC lab, Ally completed a six-month volunteer fellowship in the Joseph Sagol Neuroscience Center at Sheba Tel HaShomer Medical Center in Israel, conducting research on war-related traumatic brain injury. She graduated with a dual BA in neuroscience from Columbia University and Talmud from The Jewish Theological Seminary of America, followed by an ScM in Medical Sciences from Brown University and a Master of Bioethics from Harvard Medical School. Outside of research, Ally enjoys taking modern, ballet, and tap dance classes and spending time with her nieces and nephew.
