Lucas Deden Binder, B.A.

Research Technician

I am a Boston native and I received my bachelor’s degree in physics & astronomy from SUNY New Paltz. Despite my initial intentions of studying astrophysics after undergrad, I ended up pivoting into biomedical research, which is how I became a research technician at MGH. Since then, I’ve become deeply interested in the world of neuroscience. Currently I work with the NICC lab by scanning ex vivo brain samples in both 3T and 7T MRI scanners. This work allows us to collect high-resolution images that can be used to study the connectivity and network architecture of the brain.

Some of my hobbies include cycling, dungeons & dragons, and playing too many video games.
